The Hayabusa Wood is made with real wood and feels like you are holding a real table tennis paddle. It is very light and has excellent build quality. During 10 days of testing, it gave a better sense of control and a very nice feeling while playing. The tracking is perfect and the grip is very comfortable. The controller mounting system is also very easy to use, very firm, and very steady.

The weight feels very close to a real racket, which really boosts immersion and makes it super fun! The wooden grip doesn't slip even when my hands get sweaty, so I can swing with confidence. I often switch it on and off for other games, and it's quick and easy to attach and detach — which I really appreciate.

I've tried many adaptors during my 5+ years of ETT, and the Hayabusa currently takes the cake for me on Quest 3. Because of its orientation, I'm able to hit harder and generate more spin on my backhand. Since Nov 29 2025, I have yet to lose a ranked game — 67 consecutive ranked wins while using this adapter. The Hayabusa has the most comfortable handle in both straight and flared of any of the adapters I have tried. I find this adapter to be incredible on the BH with a good FH position. The weights provide control over the center of gravity. If you need more power, keep the weights out. If you need control, add more weight to the handle. Three options to assure you have the best possible feeling. I couldn't be happier with my adapter.
